Well, even though I have reached my official goal I am still going strong...sort of. This week was not the best week I've had so far but I still managed to lose 2 more lbs which puts me under 160!!! I am so excited about that. I have never been this weight as an adult!! It feels so good. Like I said before, I don't have a specific number in mind as far as weight goes, but I would really like to tone up and get rid of this belly fat. Of course it's like the hardest thing to get rid of, but I am going to keep at it.
This week we are going on vacation to Disney World. I am sooooooooo excited!!! I will not be on my diet this week...it is vacation after all. But, I have a feeling that I am still going to be very cautious and aware of what I am eating...it's a habit now. With that said...I am definitely going to eat a nice big juicy burger at some point! I have not one since I started my diet and my mouth is watering just thinking about it. The good thing is we will be doing a LOT of walking so it should counteract all (or most) of the yummy food I eat!
I've had a lot of wonderful compliments this past week from some great friends and family. I appreciate each and every one. Not only does it feel good but it makes me want to keep doing what I'm doing. So, thank you very much...Love you all!

I DID IT! I DID IT!!
I have officially reached my goal of losing 30 lbs before my 30th birthday. In fact, as of this week's weigh in, I have surpassed it!! I technically reached it last week, but I didn't want to celebrate too soon because it was sooo close. I feel safe now saying that I DID IT! I can't begin to explain how excited I am and how good it feels to accomplish something that seemed so out of reach at the beginning.
Of course, this is not the end of my journey. I want to continue eating healthy and exercising. I don't necessarily have a specific weight in mind....I'm just so thrilled to be where I'm at right now! Mostly I just want to make sure that I maintain what I worked so hard for. I never want to go back to feeling so horrible about myself the way I did before.
I also want to thank all of you who have noticed and have said such wonderful things to me. It has encouraged me on those days when I feel like giving up. I hope that I am an encouragement to you as well. Keep your chin and keep reaching for you goals. You CAN do it! I believe in you. Just remember to take it one day at a time, one choice at a time. I heard something the other day about living the 80/20 rule. 80% of the time you make healthy choices, but allow yourself 20% of the time to have things that make you happy. And then don't beat yourself up over it. I'm proud of all of you for the choice you've already made to make a change in your life and become a healthier you!
