My sister-in-law Haley told me today about this really neat website called Sparkpeople.com. It is free to join and you can get a personalized diet and fitness plan and even your own personal SparkPage! You can record the amount of time you spend exercising and it will calculate the calories you burned. You can also record the food you ate for the day and it will tell you how many calories and fat you consumed and then give you a progress report to see if you are getting the nutrients that you should be. The best part is you can change anything to your own personal needs. There is also a community of Spark People, and lots of other useful resources including recipes through out the site. I set up my account today and I highly recommend that you check it out...just click here. It won't cost you anything but a few moments of your time. I think it could be a very useful tool to help keep track of your weight loss progress!
