This Week...

Well, my hubby made it through his first week on WW. I know he feels like he didn't do so well, but for his first week I think he did great! I think it was a major shock to him when we started adding up what he would normally eat compared to what he should be eating though! He doesn't normally eat breakfast, but he grabs fast food quite often for lunch, and has at least two servings of whatever at dinner. He drinks one or two 20 oz Mt. Dews each day as well and a snack at night. So, it took him a couple of days to get used to the idea of eating healthy foods (vegetables....GASP!) but when he realized how quickly the food he wanted eat added up, but didn't fill him up he was a little more willing to do it my way! He has also been exercising this week too. I honestly believe that adding exercise into your daily routine is the only way to successfully lose weight. I am proud of him for taking that step! And I am very proud of him for making the decision (finally) to become a healthier person...we want him around for a LONG time!

*Not sure what is weight loss is yet...he doesn't do his weigh in until the evening since he has to leave so early in the am

As for me...I did okay this week...it was this weekend that was killer. My sweet darling hubby offered to take us all out for dinner Saturday as my Mother's Day gift. We really debated back and forth because, well...we are on a diet! But, in the end, the pizza (and the fact that I didn't have to cook) won us over. I know, it's okay to splurge once in awhile, but...I knew I wouldn't be eating that great on Sunday either, and to top it off I ate the left over pizza Sunday night. Oh, and I didn't excersize at all this weekend!! Fortunately I still lost almost 2lbs this week...think of what I could have done had I been a good girl. Oh well, guess there is always this week...

Wishing you all a happy and healthy week!
