Determination

Last week I was terrible...I only exercised one time and I made some pretty bad food choices. So, I decided that this week I was going to kick it into high gear. I planned on getting up in the morning and doing my work-out first thing. The days seemed to be getting pretty busy lately and that is part of the reason I slacked last week. So, I get up all ready to go and the Wii console will NOT turn on! WHAT???? Are you kidding me?? This is not supposed to happen!! I am so bummed. Of course, I know that I can get my exercising in another way, but one of the things that I like about the Wii is that it weighs me and keeps track of my progress...how will I do that now? My bathroom scale is not that accurate. So, this week I have no weight to put in...which doesn't really hurt my feelings much since I am sure that I didn't lose any last week because of my poor choices.
I am happy to report that I am NOT going to let this discourage me. I am determined to keep track of my WW points this week, make smart food choices and get my work-out in one way or another. I am not so much focused on losing weight right now, but rather maintaining and making good choices. Of course, I still want to lose weight (I'd like to get under 150 just to see if I can) but more or less, I'd really like to tone up, especially my belly. It's getting there, but I still have a lot of work to do. But, it's really more than just eating right vs. exercising...I believe you have to do both to really be effective. So...that is what I am determined to continue doing....with our without my Wii!
